I find Mindfulness very helpful to relax me and help,with sleep,disturbance, also at any time I am particularly anxious. I would recommend just about anything by Mark Williams and/or Jon Kabat Zinn. There are many free resources available on the Internet. It isn't something to rush and I would recommend getting exercises to listen to, lots available for no cost on the internet but also to purchase if you want to progress further. A class can help with motivation and can really help in the beginning. There are NHS short courses in many areas. It's worth a try, I always think it can do no harm. Just one thing though, if you find its not for you then don't blame yourself, we are all individuals and it is a different approach that is good for many but not for all.
