By way loved acquacsie but home to find dh started grass, no hooveringndone or washing so sorted out 2 lots he seems sooo stressed and I will have try keep quiet as I,know he is just worried, it isn't helping!

I was just curious. Does your son speak to your ED? My stepdaughter doesn't want to get involved so we found out about my ESS 's back operation thru my friend who teaches with him.

Celeb - I`m sure you know that doctors have to tell you that things can go wrong - they are worried about being sued if it does and they haven`t warned the patient! That doesn`t mean it is likely to go wrong.

He's right I got focus on coping not upset myself again.

We waited hour and half mr Cummings had 31 patients to see??.
I felt rushed and sooo stressed but went through all my questions
He is fitting screws (titanium)and rods not a cage.
I was upset as he said it has to go wrong for someone?
However he said again done hundreds and ladies I have no choice.

I have come to the conclusion that DH`s don`t see things that we do see - I often leave things on the bottom step and take them upstairs next time I go - presumably DH can`t see these things because he will actually walk over them rather than picking them up!

Anyway - when does gentle reminding become nagging?!

New patio door fitted this monring oh gosh why am I always the soap boxer it is beautiful but squeaky and spotted miniscule scratch so dh rings and they said use oil no way brand new door so I rang he came straight back and sorted it nice fell
A son of owner and they going sort another couple jobs too, just it's always me who has to sort stuff are other ladies the same? X

I too have thought of those boys,William and Harry.
It was an event attracting worldwide coverage and it was for them the loss of their mum..tragedy thrust upon them at an early age.

At a similar age to Harry,my mum lost her father tragically and this coloured the rest of her life.She wasn't allowed at the funeral and couldn't talk about it as we can today.
I did some research and found his death and subsequent inquest was reported in the newspapers.Sadly mum had been dead a few years when I found out.
But I felt in some way I'd laid it to rest.
Can understand why the boys want to do just that.

I agree Smileless that its wonderful that Prince William talks about his Mum to his children, to keep her memory and love alive. But that reminds us of our own estDC, and their attitudes to us.

Celeb - just to say Don`t Panic if after the op you feel worse for a while. A friend had a similar op and was convinced it hadn`t worked, but given a bit of time it has made an enormous difference to her life.
Good luck with the surgeon tomorrow - I hope he is someone who is easy to talk to

I am having a 3 hour operation to stabilise and decompress my verterbrae
They are pressing on a nerve.
2 screws will be inserted made of titanium (titanic) and a cage.
Some of bone will be cut.

That's most I know seeing surgeon tomorrow.

I used to think xxx could not get happiness on back of such cruelty to me and her dad and ignore so many that loved her.
However she certainly seems happy.

Yes it amazes me that William and Harry still love and miss their mum so after 20 years and keep the memory alive for Williams children that's wonderful.

I watched that too Smileless, wasn't going to, but they did put the record straight. I always thought she had the most beautiful smile and caring nature, much had been made of her negative traits, these were far outweighed the good she did. So glad her boys love her so much and still feel that love, she made them what they are today. It made me cry, thinking of that day they were made to act like grown ups and follow her coffin, for all they have in life, nothing makes up to those men for that loss of their loving mother. I do think your son must think of all those years when you were close, he has for some reason tried to blank it out, but it will catch up with him. You never forget those that realy love you. The older you get the more you realise that. What I do know for sure, is that if you hurt someone who loves you unconditionally and dont put it right, you will never find peace.

Just finished watching 'Diana our mother' and got through several tissues in the process.

Made me wonder if our EAC remember the hugs and cuddles we used to give them and them us and made me wonder if they ever miss our love.

Life is strange isn't it; William talks to his children about his dead mother and has photo's of her in their home because he wants them to know they had two grandmothers while our EGC know nothing about us even though we're here.
