Oh Jen, try and relax, our children are never settled, by that I think you mean, a good job, nice house etc. Just be thankful, he's healthy and happy the rest will follow.

Mummy's boy eh? Just joking Jen67. Ofcourse we worry about our children. My 3 children are on the road, a lot, and until a couple of years ago, if the news reported an accident, I would check to see what colour the car was, if you see what I mean.

Is there any reason why he won't have a good life?
What is a good life, exactly?

One where he is healthy and doing what he wants to sounds pretty good to me.

You need to let him go.
Experience life for himself. Enjoy new experiences.

What do you consider "settled"? It is such a subjective term.
Settled in the dorm? Goes to classes? Graduated? Gets a job?

Hi I just can’t seem to stop worrying about what will become of my grown up son. He’s at Uni.. went late (25 now) and I know he wants a good life.. I can’t seem to be happy until I know he’s settled.
Nothing is ever totally settled in life though and so Om constantly worrying!... help!
