If you were to have your time over again, how many of us would marry your same husband/Wife Warts n All, and for the record I certainly would

Just a tad more than thirty three years ago I married my best friend and have never had a single moment's regret. He's kind, generous, thoughtful - and loves me 'warts and all', as I love him.

I couldn't really have married him much sooner - he was at nursery school when I married my first husband! grin

Yes, I would. It's not always been plain sailing but we're as barmy as each other and I doubt that anyone else would put up with either of us. He's my rock and my stability; makes me laugh and makes me cry and I would be like a rudderless ship without him.

Smileless2012 Sun 08-Dec-19 22:04:19

Yes I would without a moments hesitation.

NanaandGrampy Sun 08-Dec-19 22:14:56

Yes without hesitation .

We’ve had 43 years to work at it and I think we have the recipe for a happy marriage down pat :-)

No never worst decision I ever made! Only good thing to come out if it was my children who are wonderful. He is a hateful man

Definitely.I married on the rebound, and wasn't sure I was doing the right thing, i was only 21 but love grew and grew.He was the right one Love him to bits.

NO, but wouldn’t be without my fabulous offspring, I was a doormat.

suzette1613 Mon 09-Dec-19 06:54:49

No. Exactly what Mebster said. Sometimes it seems easier to stay than go, especially if things aren`t ghastly, just dull.

Same as you, still nursing a broken heart really, so on paper, probably not a wise move!

But he’s the best of men, kind, generous, an excellent father, I know I’ve been lucky.

45 years next July and we'd both do it again.tchsmile

mumofmadboys Mon 09-Dec-19 07:12:15

A resounding yes I would marry my wife again and would not need to be given even the chance to think twice about it.

Fifty one years of wonderful partnership, love and the raising of three beautiful daughters.

Keeper1 Mon 09-Dec-19 10:02:28

Which one?

polnan Mon 09-Dec-19 10:04:30

yes, second time round for both of us... 50 years this coming January, he just died November 12th after longish illness.

Americanpie Mon 09-Dec-19 10:05:53

First one, no way! However my husband now ? Yes without doubt. Love of my life.

Happygirl79 Mon 09-Dec-19 10:05:54

No

Lins1066 Mon 09-Dec-19 10:08:09

Yes without any hesitation. We have been married for 42 years. He is a kind, funny and thoughtful man.
We have a very painful family situation going on at the moment, so I have reason to be grateful for him yet again.

GrandmaMoira Mon 09-Dec-19 10:09:09

First one, definitely not. Second one, not sure but probably. Of course this is hard to say because of the children.

newnanny Mon 09-Dec-19 10:09:54

Yes I would. Very happy with dh.

Theoddbird Mon 09-Dec-19 10:12:34

No...

paperbackbutterfly Mon 09-Dec-19 10:17:50

Probably but I would have looked around first. He was my first boyfriend from 14 years old and 48 years on I feel we both missed out on things.

Elderlyfirsttimegran Mon 09-Dec-19 10:22:44

I’ve been married twice, my first husband and father of our children died after 7 years. I would marry him again in a heartbeat. I married again 6 years later and no, I’d never marry him again. He died 4 years ago.

frenchie Mon 09-Dec-19 10:22:53

Oh yes in a heartbeat! We’ve been married 43 years and renews our vows for our 25th anniversary. We married terribly young, I was pregnant, French and still a student! Ken was absolutely marvellous, working all hours as we had no money. But we made it work and still love each other to bits!
