No, it's what ethical people teach, whether they are religious or not. Mind you, in this case, the Mormon Church is not renowned for its ethical standards anyway, so I suppose we shouldn't be surprised. Actually, I'm not, just disgusted.

And non-religious people as well. Pol Pot, Josef Stalin, Adolf Hitler - human wickedness isn't restricted to people who claim membership of a faith.
