I was just wondering what the general reaction to the indulgences offer was among Tweople so I put #indulgences in the search box and got another chuckle for my pains.
My parents, both catholics, would have laughed with me. As mice suggested, their amusement would have been from the viewpoint of sincere prayerfulness whereas mine isn't, but that's the only difference.
