For Easter Day

What a joyful thread , lifted my spirits sharing the love of the risen Christ with you all X

Daughter.!!

We have had a lovely Easter Sunday. Arrived early at Church, as we were on tea/coffee duty after the service. A couple of folk there who have been very unwell, but are now thankfully recovering. The empty cross was transformed by the flowers that everyone brought to decorate it, and it was so beautiful. Our daught called this afternoon, and we had a long chat, and we are seeing her and SIL again tomorrow. I shall be cooking lunch, after a quick panic about having to cook for more than two. Bless you all, and thanks for the friendship here.

Although some of us have had our run ins regarding religion I hope all the believers had a good Easter and feel the rejuvenation of their faith

Thank goodness some people remembers what Easter is all about. All I have seen are Easter Bunnies , eggs and lots of gift being given to children who have no idea what it is all about . The Sunday Times had a cookery article headed " A chocolate resurrection " I found it deeply offensive.

Not being at all facetious but this is rather an appropriate item I've just read on the BBC news webpage for the day Christians celebrate the Resurrection.

Just watched service from Hereford cathedral, it was very uplifting
