Thank you Annie, I am encouraged by the fact, that when there is such a terrible tragedy, so many people, in what has become a somewhat secular society, turn to prayer. It doesn't matter what creed but I think it is encouraging that so many of us recognise there is something outside ourselves. We do not know why these terrible tragedies happen, natural disasters as well as man made ones. I am reminded of a poem that I've passed on to my grandchildren -
"Not till the loom is silent
And the shuttles cease to fly
Shall God unroll the canvas
And explain the reason why.

Please may we find a way to come together to find ways to improve things for those in need.
Help us to do what we can in our communities and on line to bring support to people so that we can build an liberal, efficient and caring nation.
