I'd love it if Prince Andrew went to America to face the music, because I'd love to have someone as famous as he showing a moral lead Tell the truth and shame the devil.

I suspect along with legal advice there is a lot of RF PR work going on about how best to sell this to the great British Public. PA's last attempt being an utter disaster. No M&H have gone they'll be looking for something else to keep him off the front-page. Wedding/baby/engagement anyone?

legal advice does not address issues of morality

Would you like to comment Anniebach

suziewoozie Wed 29-Jan-20 11:20:27

In a previous life, I had much to do with people who had taken legal advice. It frequently made their ultimate situation worse because legal advice does not address issues of morality.

Anniebach Wed 29-Jan-20 11:16:39

annepl is it not possible he is taking legal advice.

annep1 Wed 29-Jan-20 11:08:54

Endlessstrife you don't need to explain. I think Suziewoozie has expkained already.

Anniebach I don't know what she said - you know that! But I am assuming she didn’t tell him to cooperate as he hasn't done so.

Some folk just play silly games on GN.

suziewoozie Wed 29-Jan-20 10:53:52

Threads don’t work like that Pant Soz

I suspect PA is currently thinking things through and wondering "How old was that girl Jeffrey gave me for my birthday? She was 16 wasn't she? Wasn't she?"

Pantglas2 Wed 29-Jan-20 10:48:09

Actually I’m more interested in endlessstrife thoughts on ‘normal’ family than yours suz , seeing as it was her post I queried.

suziewoozie Wed 29-Jan-20 10:37:50

Clearly annie but some occupy such low moral ground that they can’t bring themselves to criticise PA but just bleat that he hasn’t been charged with anything.

Anniebach Wed 29-Jan-20 10:30:32

Not everyone has reached your moral high ground suziewoozie

suziewoozie Wed 29-Jan-20 10:25:43

Pant we are not talking about unemployment or disability. The point is that the RF do not behave like or are treated like the rest of us. If my 59 year old son ( if I had one) was in this position I’d ask myself what I’d done to contribute to such a moral degenerate. I wouldn’t be going to church with him or horse riding ( if I did either). But then an AC of mine wouldn’t be reliant on me either for every penny he had or have garnered suspicious riches from dubious contacts simply because he was my son.

trisher Wed 29-Jan-20 10:05:17

The question of moral law hardly arises if we are dealing with PA or indeed with any members of the RF. They are the epitome of influence and privilege. They don't believe anything they do or anyone they are personally involved with can do any wrong. You only have to look at PA's friendship with Epstein and P Charles' letters to Peter Ball, disgraced bishop, to realise they either know what is going on or imagine that because they are so superior no one they know would ever be capable of such things. So they are either morally or intelectually bankrupt.

Pantglas2 Wed 29-Jan-20 10:04:50

So suzie a family where parent(s) are unemployed and/or disabled, and on benefits are not ‘normal’? And for the record, I don’t do idols - we all have feet of clay.

Anniebach Wed 29-Jan-20 10:00:43

annepl do tell, what did the queen say to him ?

Anniebach Wed 29-Jan-20 09:58:47

I don’t know what a normal family is

suziewoozie Wed 29-Jan-20 09:57:44

Spot on annepl

suziewoozie Wed 29-Jan-20 09:57:02

Some people will misread (deliberately) any post in order to avoid criticising their idols.

annep1 Wed 29-Jan-20 09:56:07

I think we all know perfectly well what endlessstrife means by "normal". And I agree with her.

The queen should have told Andrew to cooperate, regardless of what the US does. Instead of attending church with him. If he has done nothing wrong he has nothing to fear.

Anniebach Wed 29-Jan-20 09:55:06

I thought the same Pantglas

suziewoozie Wed 29-Jan-20 09:55:00

Pant what are you talking about? The word ‘normal’ was used as an adjective to describe the noun ‘family’. Your post to ‘endless’ made no sense at all

Bridgeit Wed 29-Jan-20 09:51:43

Just adding a fact , RF cost each taxpayer approx 69p last year .

lucywinter Wed 29-Jan-20 09:48:19

I think Andrew should make himself available fr interview by the FBI, in this country. Allowing himself to be summoned to the US would look too much like an admission of guilt. And we do want to hold onto some measure of respect for our royal family.

Anyway, didn't I read that he had no idea they were asking for him to go out there? Have they submitted a formal request to him, or are they just waiting for him to approach them? Lazy or what!

Pantglas2 Wed 29-Jan-20 09:41:32

Seems a very harsh attitude endlessstrife - suggesting that unemployed, disabled etc are not ‘normal’ because they’re paid for by British tax payer!

endlessstrife Wed 29-Jan-20 09:19:30

One not paid for by the British tax payer.

Anniebach Wed 29-Jan-20 09:07:43

What is a normal family ?
