Please just pray for me tonight. I will explain later. My face is full of tears. I am having trouble taking care of my husband and he keeps asking me to let him die. Thank you.
My Mum gave up eating, then drinking, towards the end of her life. Her GP agreed to Dad's request to keep her at home rather than admit her to hospital. District nurses and carers increased their visits. Mum faded peacefully away, in her own bed.
Macadia , my thoughts are with you and your husband. I can only imagine the distress you are in . Do hope you have support from friends/ family. It must feel so lonely especially at this time of night. Please ring the Samaritans if you need a listening ear, they will help simply by being on the end of the phone. I am sitting in my bedroom just now and sending you as much strength as is possible. I hope that by posting on GN and receiving such kind and caring responses your pain is eased a little. Lots of people here are ' with you' . ๐๐.
