I unplugged my landline phone because of these calls. Rarely get anything like this on my mobile. However, I did get an email this morning telling me that a package will be delivered if I click on the link and pay 1.99 pound (sic). I wonder what can it be??

Three Amazon calls so far this morning.

I am fed up with the recorded Amazon message telling me that my Amazon account has been hacked into so I have to pay outstanding money.

I know many people use Amazon but I have not got a Bloody Amazon account and this recording gets on my wick.

I phoned a wrong number last week instead of my Mum and the woman said, who is this? and I said 'it's Jane, but you don't know me as I've called the wrong number' she says 'are you ok Jane?' and I said, yes I'm fine, how are you? and the woman told me all about the weather

I hang up as soon as I hear the 'call centre voice' or a recording, so I never hear what it's about. Then I blacklist the number. End of story.......until the next time.

I miss the ‘you’ve won a holiday’ call. Maybe they’re waiting for the travel ban to be lifted.

Come to think of it, I haven't heard from Microsoft recently about a problem with my PC. I seem to remember that it was a live call last time, so I was able to string him along for a couple of minutes.

I always add these numbers to my blocked list but then another one always seems to wriggle through

All quiet here today but last week we had at least two scam calls a day.
Answer machine is on 24/7 and they do end the call when machine answers.

Anyone heard lately from the Indian call centre men with English names. I’ve heard in the past from John, David and Peter. I did once have a really interesting long chat with one man...it was fascinating to share thoughts. I hope the call wasn’t reversed!!

I haven't heard from Amazon lately about a problem with my Prime Account (12 calls over a few days).

I haven’t heard lately why my pc has been running slow. Microsoft must have sorted it remotely for me.

A friend phoned right at the beginning of all these lockdowns and said she was going to phone everyone on her Christmas card list, which I thought was a good idea.
