Can you copy and paste missing the top bit with the name? (I really need to learn how to use my IPad?)

There should be an option to crop it Avalon.
Google it and there should be a video....there seems to be one for everything!!

I can see that you did blossoming
I did the same the other day and GNHQ kindly deleted it for me until I could scribble a bit more to hide the words.

If you open a picture on your iPad there is usually an option to edit it. I use the graffiti option to scribble out bits.

That is exactly what I did.

Ah! I’ll need to think about that ?

You need a permanent marker another time.

What for? To draw on my iPad screen? It was an email ….

Blossoming Sat 11-Dec-21 13:47:06

Obviously I did tell them why Wellbeck. Several times, in fact. Still didn’t remove the post.

if you tell them why, i think they will.
when they get around to it...

Blossoming Sat 11-Dec-21 13:37:43

Thank you Bea65. I’ll give it a try, but when I’ve asked them to remove my posts in the past they’ve never actually done so, despite acknowledging my request.

Bea65 Sat 11-Dec-21 13:08:17

Blossoming..you can request GNHQ to remove it on your behalf...

Isn’t it sad when we can’t trust any communication because so many people are scamming the rest of us,

Daisend1 Sat 11-Dec-21 12:23:19

My view has always been When in doubt don't.
I may have lost out when one of those message telling me to 'phone this number to claim etc etc' has been genuine and my suspicious mind has told me otherwise but isn't that life?.
and can console myself with what I've never had I won't miss.?

Blossoming Sat 11-Dec-21 12:12:27

I can’t amend it Ali08. Gransnet has no functionality to delete or change posts.

Ali08 Sat 11-Dec-21 12:01:52

And thank you, Blossoming.
Have a great day!

Ali08 Sat 11-Dec-21 11:59:14

I can see your name, Blossoming, you may want to amend that!
I shall wait patiently for my £85 letter, and have a chuckle with him indoors about it!!

Blossoming Fri 03-Dec-21 18:28:14

It’s awfully kind of them, do you think they’re giving all grans £85?

Septimia Fri 03-Dec-21 18:23:45

That's odd (tongue in cheek) they've just told me that they owe me £85, too, and they don't supply our electricity either! grin

Blossoming Fri 03-Dec-21 15:59:04

I have just had a realistic looking email from e.on, subject Winter Payment Confirmation. It says they’ve overcharged me and I will be refunded £85. It invites me to click on a link that wil, of course, go to a fraudulent website.

I know it can’t possibly be real as I haven’t had an account with them for over 20 years, but it really is quite convincing. I’ve sent it on to e.on’s phishing account for investigation.
