I received a phone call this morning - 01903 493138 - when I answered the call a young lady asked for me by name and stated that the maintenance payment via direct debit on my washing machine had failed to process and I needed to set it up again.
I instantly knew this was a scam as my washing machine is virtually new and still under manufacturers warranty, therefore there's no need for extended maintenance etc.
As I started to explain the situation she hung up straight away. Please be very wary GNetters, particularly if you have a maintenance warranty on an appliance.
