TV licence scam

Got an email today from 251 television licence telling me my payment hadn’t gone through.
I logged in to the legitimate TV Licensing site to check and saw that my licence is valid till April 2042 so it’s a scam to get bank details as I assumed.

Be aware please.

2042? I think that’s a typo!
I’ve had that email too. Obvious scam.

I got that one yesterday. As we have neither a TV nor a licence I reported it as phishing email then deleted it.
