Just had an email purporting to come from HMRC telling me I was eligible for the Energy Bill Support Scheme, and to contact them at the link below. If I hadn’t been suspicious before, the fact that the phrase ‘carpetwashing’ was part of the email address perhaps gave the game away!
I’m glad that at least some of these nasty scammers are so stupid!
