I get emails "from" a couple of friends who were both hacked some time ago, also offering me pictures. They are delivered to the spam folder though.

I frequently get emails from my nephews and a niece sending me pictures! I have to check the email addresses….I certainly haven’t opened any of them!

The other day my brother mentioned an e-mail I'd sent him, which was odd as I don't even know his e-mail address. The message definately not from me and claimed to be from a university in Honduras, to which I have no connection.

He said he'd report it but I wasn't sure if I should also?

Someone was clearly using one of my e-mail addresses, but I have no idea which.

Should I do anything, and if so, what?

I have just deleted a message purporting to come from Yahoo, saying that my password is due to expire today, and that I can keep the same password by clicking a link. I have also reported it to [email protected]

If you get a message like that and hover over the address it's sent from, it is nothing to do with Yahoo. What I don't understand is why it wasn't picked up by their spam filter, which is usually very good.
