We have to be constantly alert these days.

I have noticed that when I get these "calls from the bank" they usually say "This is your bank" without actually mentioning WHICH bank or asking me "Is that Elegran?" This, of course, is because they are are ringing any number who will answer, and have no idea which bank I use or what my name is.

You can check those numbers whosringing.co.uk and report to them. A lot of numbers are showing as scammers. We need to be careful of these fiends.

Watch out for someone claiming they are from your bank mentioning that your card has been used and to get in touch immediately if it wasn’t yourself.

Thanks,*Squiffy*! It’s always useful to be kept informed about thé tricks these …bar stewards… use, as any of us can be caught out.

Thank you, no, I have no intention of replying or clicking the link!

I posted the messages as a warning to others. It's the sort of text that's all too easy to be caught out by, especially if a parcel is expected! angry angry

Dodgy, do not engage.

I am not an expert but that looks decidedly dodgy to me, I would not respond.

I’m expecting packages, but these texts set alarm bells ringing . Although they arrived as texts, they show private email addresses at the top. Also, one of them purports to be from RM, but the link has ‘evri’ in it.

I don’t feel too inclined to click on the links!
