Did you check the number with who’s ringing? There might be some information there on the number (whosringing.co.uk)

Very odd!
I haven’t had any actual scam calls for ages, but did have the same old email purporting to be from Evri the other day, saying they’d tried to deliver a parcel but there was a fee to pay….
I suppose some people must still fall for it, or they wouldn’t bother.
Yes, the ‘scam interceptors programme is well worth a watch!

Last night I had a call from someone who wanted to warn me about my investments bein in danger. It was a very bad line and I couldn't work out what he was talking about, so I said that and hung up.
Some 3 1/2 hours later, I got a call saying "we seem to have been cut off" so I said no I ended the call, and did so again.
Not a minute later I got a call again and he was very angry and abusive.
I told him to go back to India and put the phone down.

Then I checked the calls, and all three were from a different mobile number. I phoned Action Fraud this morning and reported all the numbers.
I have had scam calls before but they don't usually call back to call me names.
This is to recommend the BBC programme 'Scam Interceptors', to everyone here. If you haven't seen it it can be found via the iPlayer .
