Had a message from Evri the other day concerning a parcel that was not delivered to my home as no-one answered the door. (I was home all day)

I was asked to re-arrange a time for delivery. Oh and by the way there would be a 0.97p charge for this service. Card details please.
I was immediately suspicious as I had nothing on order from any any retail outlet.
Just imagine what would have happenened had I complied with the request?

I had this yesterday. Didn't read or click on anything after the bit about them knocking on the door but nobody answered.
I knew nothing was due and two of us were in the house all day.

Me too, yesterday, Evri, it seems to have gone out widely. I went a little way into it to see what they asked and when they wanted my postcode (the first info they asked for) that was end of, deleted it.

Scammers are very busy, I get emails from them nearly every day. Delivery scams are prolific.
I get a lot of " your security has lapsed " followed by a name that I don't use.
One of the most annoying scams is the Netflix one, they say they were unable to take payment and would I resend all my details 😡

I get these all the time from all sorts of delivery companies. I don't open them because I rarely shop on line.

Best ignored.

I had that one too. I have been waiting (more than a month) for an order so I could have fallen for this one, but I noticed that in their tracking link they spelled Evri with a dot in the middle. I didn't think that was right so I went directly to Evri's site and read their page on how to avoid scams in their name. This is it - www.evri.com/faqs/receiving-a-parcel/is-this-evri-text-email-genuine

I am 99% certain that the order I am waiting for is from a dodgy sales site. I shall start a new thread about that!
