Dds husband,

yes he used his mobile phone via airport hifi once and had to change passwords for everything

Also something I have never done with amazon, I logged off this evening

It is impossible for him to get in touch with amazon, I did pass on a phone number I had, I hope he eventually gets through to a person

Identity theft s also possible

Karmalady thank you for the reminder to remove payment methods from Amazon.
It's easy to get complacent isn't it.

They must have also had her email password as amazon would have notified her by email that the password had been changed, the scammer would have had to delete the message.

Thanks karmalady

We had one of those scam Amazon calls this afternoon, not sure if they're connected in any way.

my dd had her amazon account hacked. The scammer bought some items and luckily she noticed very quickly. They also changed her password. She has been in contact with her bank and I have given her an amazon number to ring

I had removed my card at one time but have been complacent and they had my card number for purchases. I have deleted it again
