Yes I had two yesterday which came in my inbox. I’ve still got them because I was going to ask my son what they were. It’s a bit worrying when they come in your mail box but I did realise it was a scam.

This appeared in my Gransnet inbox of all places. A message which starts:

Tesla Grant Allocation – Verification Required (#MI-7224-LA)

Good day

A recent audit of platform engagement records has identified your account as eligible for a one-time technology grant. This allocation includes:

· $10,000.00 USD (transferable via wire or digital wallet)
· 2024 Tesla Model 3 Standard Range (VIN pending confirmation)

This is a direct allocation, not a contest or sweepstakes selection.

I assume it is a scam, so I have reported it.
