Yes, yes and yes again. Any chance of this book ending up on Cameron's reading list for the Christmas break? Osborne seems to have read it as I heard something on the radio yesterday that his climate policy includes breaks for large energy users so that they do not go overseas to countries with cheaper energy prices (US repatriating heavy industry with fuel prices falling).
What we need now is the removal of all subsidies and tax incentives for companies and individuals to put up wind turbines and photovoltaic farms and panels. Nothing against either if they are taken for what they are contributions to our power supply but unreliable and intermittent and least capable of producing power when we need it most, during cold snaps and the long dark days of winter respectively.
