Why does big business always have to go to extremes? The odd wind turbine slowly do it's thing on a hill side was one thing. I was all in favour of them. Farmers have a turbine near their barns to power their dairy units - no problem. But the sight of acres / hectares of gigantic turbines marching over Spain and USA etc is beyond the pale. The best place for wind farms - if we must have so many - is at sea. Avoiding migration routes of course. There they can at least provide no go areas for fishing and enable the growth of new coral reefs. They also prevent dredging nearby which in turn helps stabilise coastal erosion.
Hopefully business will jump on the wave power band wagon next!
