They are still prepare to kill and maim for their own purposes. angry

They remind me of 'right to life' protestors who murder people working in abortion clinics. Somewhat ironic, I think.
My daughter's in- laws were very keen animal lovers and used to spend long nights on the cliffs above Dover port, monitoring the loading of live animals onto the ferries. They quietly gave it up when a lorry driver was killed by a rock hurled into his cab from a bridge on the A2.
Minks 'freed' from a farm in Essex slaughtered much of the indigenous fauna.
No, the end very rarely justifies the means, if it means hurting other people. There are legitimate means of protesting but I suspect some eco 'warriors' are just enjoying playing games.

Of course Japan's "scientific study" that allows them a quota of whales for killing is a shameful farce and something should be done to stop it – but not what is described in the link.
