Blackberry Picking is my favourite Heaney poem.
They are just about starting to turn in my garden, and they always make me think of this poem.

I so agree.
I don't like all of his poems, but some are just wonderful.

I haven't worked out yet how to do links.
So, just to say that the Seamus Heaney poem I love best is the one called
Digging
It ends
*Between my finger and my thumb
The squat pen rests
I'll dig with it*
