Geminid meteor shower

I saw a few but was too tired to stay up after 1. I'd said that next meteor shower we had I'd make a flask of coffee and go and sit in the car on a hill somewhere. Of course, when I do plan ahead it's always cloudy. Last night was perfect.

Thanks Galen. Which direction? We only have a tiny bit if sky not affected by light pollution from an enthusiastic street sign.

If I lie on the bed in the back bedroom I get a really good view of the sky; will do that [bet I fall asleep within 5 minutes, though!].

All night, but at its best in the early hours I gather. Up to 120 an hour expected.

Any particular time? It's really clear here. The last meteor shower I saw was amazing.
