I looked too last night but there were no stars to see. I hope I can remember to look tonight. I think it is visible for a week or so.

Are there a couple of smaller ones following behind called Tinker and Eric?

Thanks for the heads up, will try to see it tonight. If you have a smart phone, there is a free Google Sky map app that will help find Orion.

Thank you will have a look - if I can locate Orion that is.

This bright comet should be visible (to the naked eye in areas without light pollution) for the next two weeks. It is a bit to the right of Orion. If you miss it you will have to wait 8000 years for it to come round again!
