My bug hotel was well occupied last year, except the larger tubes which were not used. The cells have now hatched, leaving small holes in the 'cement'. There are several bees hovering around the hotel now, but they don't seem to want to go into any of the tubes. Should I clean out the remnants of last year's use? It was fun watching all the comings and goings, especially when leaf cutters used the slits in my plant pouches.
Soops kitchen, a place of reflection, refuge and at times revelry.
