Autumn Colours

This photo was taken in the Trossachs.
I've been watching the BBC series 'This Farming Life' and gasp at some of the scenery (Scotland)
Nature takes our breath away at every turn if we stop gawping at our mobiles and see the beauty around us.
I took the sunset one a few months ago and no, it hasn't been re-touched. The colours are dazzling.

The trees were in full leaf in mid October 1987 when we had the hurricane, that's apparently why so many trees came down.

Yes, driving around the countryside you notice all the great Autumn colours, really lovely this year.
This is a cotinus ‘Grace’ in our garden at the moment.

Yes, I have noticed - but only in the last week. Until then all the trees we saw were green going yellow or had just gone green-brown-leaves dropping off.

When I think back, I always think of trees being as they are now in late September-October and really shows how Global Warming is affecting us.

It is beautiful this year.
