National Trust and some other heritage organisations now send their magazines etc in compostable plastic bag made from corn starch ( a very good use for it, better than padding out food products with it.)

Kindle spell check does strange things.
On another tack I received about 8 items in todays post all of which went into the recycling bin. My 'brown' bin gets bigger and bigger every week.

I toys agree Teetime. DH gets publications through the post and most of them come in plastic wrappers. Yesterday, he received a gardening magazine without plastic wrapping, just an address label stuck to the back of the magazine.
If one company can do it, why can't the others?

I recently ordered a new nightie and bra and knickers set from M & S. They came in a black plastic bag, the nightie was on a plastic hanger and enclosed in a plastic bag. The bra and knickers were also in separate plastic bags on separate plastic hangers. Now I'm a neat freak but even I dont hang underwear and nighties up on hangers - so unnecessary.
