Saw the satellite chain last night and read up about them this morning. Seems that there a plan to launch 42000. They looked like a moving chain of stars. I can't help feeling that we are going to create more problems than we solve, changing the night sky, space junk etc. Surely with the pace of development they will be obsolete before the decade is out? How did they get permission to launch so many? Surely this must be a cause for concern? I'm not a scientist though.
