Where Is Greta Thunberg These Days?

Tuliptree

Yes I reported this post because it was not in the context of robust debate but posted during a pleasant conversation a few of us were having. Recent ott personal attacks on me and I do mean personal on other threads I have not reported because not only of what they say about the posters but they were also in the context of robust debate.

Tuliptree, you are now my favorite commenter :-)

Oh just go away you’re making a fool of yourself

And your point is? I’d pull a very cross face if I was even on the same continent as DT. It’s bad enough being in the same world

Say what you like about Ms. Thunberg but she has certainly given us plenty of entertainment over the years!

I will never forget her cross little face when she spotted Donald Trump at one of those interminable ‘climate change’ conferences!

Her face was a picture!

I do really miss that; having someone to speak to, or just make eye contact with, during programmes.
A little group of us on gransnet found ourselves awake and watching Glastonbury once, and it was so much more enjoyable than sitting here on my own, with nobody to appereciate (or not!) the performances.

Yes x 1 million. Well might try that during the night today waiting for Count Binface’s victory to be declared ( or not as the case may be😂)

Looking forward to viewing these links.

Thanks for the links Tuliptree. Attenborough really knows the importance of cross generational interest & campaigning. I'll watch the second link later.

I found watching the film with others and having group discussions energised and enthused me far more than watching it alone would have. Besides which, you meet a very nice type of person at events like this.

I'll have to find out what's going on in my area, I think.
Cake aside, getting out would do me a power of good

Indeed I am. I’m always up for any event there.

Cakes as well!
Now you're talking.

Thank you.
I just watched the opening few minutes.
He's great, an excellent spokesperson.
I shall be sure to watch the rest in its entirety

I watched it at one of the community screenings in my town. It was really good and inspiring . There’s been lots of follow up groups and actions as a result . Maybe there’s a community screening near you? The screening was structured to include group discussions before and after. Our local Friends Meeting House put it on. And they always provide yummy cakes

Thank you.

Here it is

I’m surprised you haven’t

CP is quite partial to a good rant. Have you seen his climate emergency film?

No, but I like him ranting or otherwise.
Must watch it.

Oh I know he likes a rant - his name was mud for a while.
I haven't seen his film, no.

Those are not superpowers. That is fear.

It’s caused by anxiety. I’ve Suffered from OCD all my life in one form or another.

So I get where you are coming from Fancythat. saying No Thanks! As it’s no picnic.

I've no intention of reading it.
If it was about Chris Packham, I would, though.

And don’t read this whatever you do
