Couldn't you just make it round. Not the froglike shape it is now?

Should be easy! hmm

greenmossgiel Mon 14-Nov-11 10:34:37

I like it that way, I think it looks cheekier, jingle!

Ok, thanks for the feedback. Anyone else have any thoughts on 'the grin' grin?

shysal Mon 14-Nov-11 12:14:15

I think it looks malicious!

Jacey Mon 14-Nov-11 12:27:21

I agree shysal ...something 'evil' about it.

Annobel Mon 14-Nov-11 12:27:47

I think it's meant to look malicious in a mischievous way. Don't change it!

Wel, we've only been asking since July. http://www.gransnet.com/forums/site_stuff/a1188908--that-emoticom-sp-emotico-n

How many more thoughts would you like Dear Josie? [slightly sarcastic smile]

Basically, we're not sure whether there's enough difference between a smile and a [gentle smile] which is why we didn't get any further on the thread you've linked to, jingle. Do you lot really need 3 variations on smiles?!

Seeing as there are some people who like the grin, we actually do need a few more opinions...

nanachrissy Mon 14-Nov-11 16:04:43

I hate itgrin I think it looks ugly and evil. I would rather have a lol face. wink

jingle Mon 14-Nov-11 16:05:33

No, not three! Get rid of the manic frog one. Replace it with a round outside, like smile or hmm, but showing teeth.

Oh, I don't mind anyway! hmm

jingle Mon 14-Nov-11 16:06:59

That smile is a gentle smile.

It's getting to you isn't it Jose! shock

We'll look into this. It's actually surprisingly difficult to do a toothy grin inside a round face. But if you're really offended by the current grin, we'll have a go. Our worry has always been that in the round shape there wouldn't be enough of a distinction between a smile and a grin. But as I say, we'll have another try.

A "hugs" emoti........ no! alright! shock

Jacey Mon 14-Nov-11 16:36:23

Dare I ask ...again ...for a 'can't stop laughing' smiley??

jingle Mon 14-Nov-11 16:57:56

Hattie64 Wed 16-Nov-11 20:31:28

Hunt Thu 22-Dec-11 23:05:01

I haven't used it because I think it's so horrible.
