As its less than 3 weeks until the 1st Anniversary of Gransnet 5th May ( I hope thats the correct date, if my memory has not failed me altogether) 
How are we going to celebrate?
Do we need to start making bunting or baking, any suggestions?????
jeni colour dosent matter as we are going to decorate your float to resemble a rule Brittania tableau of course if that is too gentle how about Boudiccia you could have daggers in the wheels to savage all who displease you,or a roman chariot any of those take your fancy 
Ooh nanachrissy how rude! I was never popular at school (sob) and now rhey're all laughing at me (sob) but they'll be sorry when they realise what a talent they have rejected. I am practising my instruments as we speak (old violin found in son's room, penny whistle, broken guitar, not to mention saucepan lids and my trusty triangle) and though I say it myself I am really very good. At least I think that's applause I hear from the neighbours and oh look the local police have come to join in with their sirens. Anyway I'm coming whether you like it or not and Bags can share my Victoria sponge as she was the only one who was nice to me 
nightowl glad its only my posting thats infectious otherwise I might be in quarantine and miss the rave do you find it difficult to sit with your tail between your legs and does it affect the cut of your jeans,do you have to make a little hole for the tail...come to think of it do owls have tails?
oh no nightowl we all have equal but very different talents make a chocolate victoria sandwhich and add baileys instead of milk and sandwich with fresh cream after all you can put your tail between your legs ..thats no mean feat.
jeni do you have go faster stripes on your electric buggy ? Oh no I can see I have set myself up for a fall I am a bit of a rubbish cook can manage a Victoria sponge but that's about it never mind I will start practising now. Also I never said I had all the instruments I think I've bitten off more than I can chew maybe I'll stick to my triangle and just give me the broom to clear up afterwards. I'm sure there are some very talented granddads over on their thread who would love to be the one man band ( slinks away with tail between her legs)

well as nanachrissy is going to eat all the vodka jellies nightowl perhaps something with some alchohol oh and some chocolate and some fresh cream,maybe use some baileys in the mixture are you an inventive cook seeings you have the one man band and other instuments AND you make cake you are obviously very talented would you like the broom to sweep the floor behind you also
