A birthday present from us to you!

As you know we will be celebrating our first birthday on 5th May - and to say thank you for making it a really special year we have put together a fabulous goodie box as a gift for one lucky Gransnetter.

All you have to do to enter is post on this thread telling us your favourite Gransnet moment from the last year.

The prize includes chocolate from Montezuma's Great British Pudding range, a bottle of No.3 gin and some fabulous books and the winner will be picked at random on Monday 7th May.

I'm too late for the present but I'd still like to say thank you to all the Gransnetter team for making a very good website. I feel a 'part' of something special which is of course what we Grans are!! It's great to think you can just open your Gransnet account and tap out something you want to tell people or to ask a question and link into the wealth of info that is out there from all of those wonderful grannies! Thank you once again! sunshine

Thank you so much for your kind messages. I've never won anything 'til now. Bless Gransnet and all the lovely people that I've been fortunate enough to "meet." This will sound daft but I feel that there are so many of you that are more deserving of such a super prize. I'm a bit too sensitive for my own good. I need a good shaking...any offers? grin
