It's sodding well doing it AGAIN

Ana It's not happened again this week, but I've been out a lot, so not so much time wasting on here!

Ana , it seems to happen randomly, (why does that not look right?), not sure what it's all about. Will try to make a note of when/if it happens on other sites, although I'm pretty sure it has happened on job sites as well.

Will be off for a while soon, Mr P's home, and I really should spend some time with him before he falls asleep on the sofa

Nope, I too get "Internet explorer has stopped working" or some such crap, can't remember the exact words, memory failure seems to be about quite a bit at present.

Ella, are you still having problems when changing threads? I am - at least three times a day my PC freezes and the box comes up saying there's a problem and it'll have to reconnect. Is it just the two of us with this problem?

Yes, Ana I do believe that there be dark doin's afoot on this 'ere Gransnet.

Ella, I seem to be having a similar problem - I've only just realised it's only when I'm on Gransnet. Everything freezes and a box comes up saying there's a problem with the Webpage and it'll have to reconnect. This has been happening regularly over the past week or so.

I thought I was having vision problems a moment ago when Marice walked on the keyboard, but Ana has sorted it!

Um, Mishap, go to your in box and click on 'new message', or have I misunderstood your problem?

Mishap when you are logged in, just go to "Inbox", to the right of the "Log In/Log Out" box up there ^

Whein I try and send a pm I get an empty box appearing with teh word OK in teh corner - I just click OK! There is no indication that the message has been sent, so I check in the sentbox to see if it has gone. It usually has.

I also do not know how to access my messages - when I want to correspond with someone I have to find a message from them and use the pm option. Is there another way to get into my messages please?

Lara, as per my PM, it seems ok when repling to one, but clicking on your name in the thread and sending a PM that way gets the sign and the Aussie beep!

Thank you Lara , perhaps "beep" insn't quite the right word, but it sort of goes "da DAH" , with a slightly raised inflection on the second "dah", in a sort of asking a question or with an Australian inflexion sort of thing.

I thought that might be the case! When will it be sorted? It is very disconcerting. Answers on a postcard please!
