I have discovered that every time someone uses a £ sign an A symbol appears in front, and an extra one every time I try to delete and preview.

Exactly yoga, if you bookmark your place, next time you click on the thread it takes you straight to where you left it. Saves so much time and effort.

But not the bit where you stopped last time which could be several posts up from the bottom and you have to scroll up and up and up and up and up . . . .

I just want to start again where I left off last time which we could do last week but can't do today

If you click on comment though, it takes you to the end of that page!

jeni - I don't want to add a comment, just get to the bit of the thread where I left off last time so that I can catch up on reading without trawling through the whole lot from the start. It used to be so easy.....

Nope - changed my mind on that one - I can't see how the bookmarks work. When you want to see the latest posts on a thread that you're watching it seems that you now have to plough your way right through from the top of the thread to where you left off. I don't like the "flip" option as I prefer the posts on a thread to be in chronological order with the newest at the end. You used to be able to go to "watching" then click on the end name which would take you to where you left off last time and just do a "bump & reset" to save your place for next time.
Sorry - I'm not explaining myself very clearly, but I'm confused

The Bookmarks are OK but it used to be easier when you could click on a name and it would take you straight to that section of the thread. Oh well - I suppose I'll get used to the new way of doing things.

Yes Granny23 but they would have to create a new star emoticon, it wouldnt take so much time to just put a hat on the moon. Or a Father Christmas on the moon. GNHQ could get really creative.
