Good to tell I am a new boy to Gransnet . I put some photographs on my
photo Gallery and would like to delete the top two or three and do not see
any facility to do this , also I do not see the box 'save' on my last two
photo's - can any one help ?
I like this Forum very much, there does not appear to be one of any
consequence in my area , not one that give worthwhile comments or subject matter - coming from Hull I would like to be involved with Hull's
local History , there is so much of it .

harvatt if you click on the line at the side of your photos that says 'edit details' you should be able to delete them.

To messenger , Thanks , I will bear that in mind .

To whenim64 , Right - I have clicked on that and it makes no difference , I have also right clicked on the mouse and ' delete ' does not appear on
the menu . Thanks for trying , regards .

harvatt, my DD2 went to Hull Uni (only place to do Swedish and
Scandinavian Studies) and was delighted to find there was a Land of Green Ginger there near the docks, as the book of that name by Noel Langley was one of her favourites when she was a child.

Thanks whenim64 - what is a' techie glitch ' ?

Thanks for trying Ella46

To Bags - Interesting that Hull was the only place for Swedish and Scandinavian studies. Over the years Hull did a tremendous amount of trade with Scandinavia - Manufacturing , Imports and Exports, also
interesting that Land Of Green Ginger was near the Docks. There were
three of the docks just there . One which you will probably remember
closed down in the 30's - now Queens Gardens, one which was Humber
Dock and is now The Marina and one which when closed was used as
a water feature to surround what is now Princes Quay Shopping Centre,
It was called Princes Dock .

harvatt I just mean one of the many glitches that GNHQ's techie person has to sort out for us. There's always one shouting for help with photos, PMs and disappearing threads grin
