What is going on?

Another thing you can do, which reduces the number of pages on a long thread, is to maximise the number of posts per page. To do that, go to "Customise" at the top of the thread and you can choose to see up to 100 posts on one page. I think the default is set to 25.

Doesn't matter if you're only replying to the last one.

But if you press a comment box at the beginning of the thread, you won't have read most of the posts...

I think I tried a couple of times but they didn't work properly.

You can also 'flip' the thread to get to the last post. And then there's "show all". I never use next, previous and last.

I think if you press a comment box, jodi, it will just take you to the end of the thread to make a comment, so you don't have to scroll.

I've had problems with the Gransnet website on my laptop. message saying server not accepting URL. However iPad can connect.

I'm having problems with getting to the end of posts as the little boxes that say 'next, previous, last' have vanished.

I've had to scroll through 31 pages to make a post on one thread

I logged in this morning and typed out a post to a thread, when I clicked on post message, it went to preview, i then had to log in again only to find my post had disappeared so I gave up and went out to have lunch with my sisters in law!

And the biscuit! Please!

I expect they buggered messed it up when they did the advanced tech thing of turning it off and on again.

I have just logged in for the fifth time this morning. All pictures and emoticons have reversed out question marks on a blue background, so obviously not quite sorted out.
