<whispers> Over here! World Poetry Day contest this way..

Can you help me please?

I wrote a poem at the time of the "whisper" poetry competition.

I didn't save it before it disappeared! I have the first four lines before it "cyber-ed" It is called - " my grand daughter", and has about another 3 or 4 verses following this! I'm not very good at IT, and I've spent hours trying to find it!

Thank you everyone. I was very surprised but really delighted to hear the result especially as the poem came out in a bit of a rush from nowhere. I think I was feeling a little emotional about one thing and another that day congratulations to everyone who entered fantastic poems

what a moving piece this is , I read it and moved on thinking it was so sad but then found i was coming back to it and identifying so strongly with it and understanding our shared humanity thankyou

My Mum (80) and my Dad (85)
are fit and well and still alive.
My Dad keeps well out of the way,
when Mum wants to have her say,
they both eat fruit and greens and this is how they thrive.

It's been lovely to read them all.

I think I would also like to say well done to everyone else, I am glad I did not have to be The Judge, because it would have been very hard.

The talent was truly amazing, I think xx
