Do you think you could possibly look at the excellent thread entitled, "Competitions to avoid"? Started by trixie. Who quite obviously is a militant little thing.

No excuse as to how I missed this one 
We do try and vary the competitions, with prizes that would interest a broad range of gransnetters, and their grandchildren. We try to steer away from competitions that are restrictive, as we know it can be annoying when everything in London centric! But we also weigh it up with how good the prize is - if it's a good show, spa treat etc someone might want a day/night out. We do currently have a competition for a prize in Wales, so we mix it up when we can!
I can't even remember this one.
