Why is it that when I try to enter the Stabilo competition I find myself on facebook?

I think it is a ploy to encourage us to join gn on fb. I don't do those competitions, although I am on fb, as I'm concerned about the 'crossover' between gn and the real world.

We have lots of competitions open to all, but we have been experimenting with Facebook competitions, which will require you to have an account and to 'like' the Gransnet page in order to enter.
If you 'like' the Gransnet page, your friends will be able to see. You can change who can see your 'likes' by going to your profile, scrolling down to the 'likes' box on the left-and side, hovering over it and clicking on the pencil icon on the top right-hand side of the box. Click on 'edit privacy' and change your settings.
If you enter a competition on our Facebook page, your friends won't be able to see you've entered.
I don't have any friends on Facebook. I only go on to read the odd thing. But I could still "like" the GN page every so often. But my "likes" would n' t actually go anywhere. Never mind. #thoughtthatcounts.
