Competitions that link to Facebook

Hello gransnet

Could we please have some indication of which competitions canopnly be accessed via facebopok BEFORE you click on it and find yourself locked into facebook where you do not want to be!? Once you have clicked, you have to turn off your browser and re-enter gransnet as facebook is like a leech and will not let you go!

Getting rid of the idea of competitions via facebook would of course be even better!

Hi Mishap. Yes of course we could give some indication as to which competition directs to Facebook - we didn't really think of that. blush

If you do click on it by accident though, you can just click on the back arrow to go to the page you were previously on, or type the URL again in the address bar.

In fact using the back arrow does not work; facebook hate to let you go!

It is a bit of a pain to have to retype the address - it might happen on all the competitions for all we know and we have to do it over and over again.

We've changed the text now, so it states the competition is on Facebook smile

It's odd you can't press the back arrow though - I can on my browser confused Are you using a mobile device?
