I agree entirely, jingl. It wasn't this before Geraldine left. There, I've said it! I thought Gransnet wasn't supposed to be like a Vicar's tea party, but it's certainly on its way...

Why does Gransnet have to be simply a "soft place to fall"? (to quote some idiot song)

Surely we are all big people and know enough to expect differing views when we post our problems on an open forum? It seems to me that the most innocuous, slightly disagreeing with the main trend, views are being stamped on at the moment.

I know the stock answer from HQ is "we are here to make people's lives easier", but I find that patronising.
