and I've got a number. A "systems ID" number.

I'm not sure I like having a number. It feels weird.

I was trying to turn bookmarks off. hmm

grin I don't know what happened with the title. I did n't write that.

You've been watching 'The Prisoner', haven't you.

'I am not a number'.

I have a thing about living in houses without numbers. If given a choice between two houses to move to, I choose the one with a name.

Has everyone got a number? Have you got a number janerowena?

Ana Fri 28-Feb-14 21:02:48

I can't turn Bookmarks off. Haven't been able to for a while...hmm

Ana Fri 28-Feb-14 21:05:01

You're supposed to go to 'customise' to do that, anyway.

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 28-Feb-14 21:05:20

I can't even get into preferences. I don't know what that was I was in.

Dragonfly1 Fri 28-Feb-14 21:05:58

I've got a number.

Icyalittle Fri 28-Feb-14 21:07:31

Me too. But I don't know about bookmarks?

Ana Fri 28-Feb-14 21:08:50

Oh yes, I've got a number too - System ID. Doesn't seem sinister to me.

If you had a membership card to an organisation it would very likely have a membership number on it. Your library ticket has a number on it. Just means you were number 1234567 to join. not sinister.

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 28-Feb-14 21:13:31

Oh that's alright then I suppose.

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 28-Feb-14 21:14:11

Still feels weird.

Icyalittle Fri 28-Feb-14 21:17:13

And I've forgotten my password. Bah.

Dragonfly1 Fri 28-Feb-14 21:18:15

Here's a thought then, Jings- has your original number survived your changes of identity/username, or do you have lots of other mothballed numbers?

jinglbellsfrocks Fri 28-Feb-14 21:25:33

I don't know. I' 've never seen if before. The number that is.

jingl No one is ever going to forget who you are and address you as a number – whatever you're going under. grin
