What's wrong with funny quotes from The Bard? A lot of the serious 'moralising' quotes were frequently duplicated because posters hadn't read the earlier posts, so presumably couldn't be considered.

Surprising the number of entries. Considering the prize was a twelve quid book from Amazon.

There were over 200 to choose from, (mainly, I suspect, because it was a Competition thread!)

Maybe people just aren't into Shakespeare enough anymore to have enough to offer a thread? My knowledge of him and his works is somewhat limited.
