Very slow this evening, so I'm off to do something quicker - organising a snail race.

Seems it's usual speed to me rosequartz. Do report it though if it happens again and we'll take a proper look. Maybe it was a cyber-blip (if that's a thing!?)

I've also had trouble for a few days now - I keep getting a message saying that the forum could be too busy and then get timed out - after several attempts!

Yes I had that too!

As usual, can't get into soop's, so will wave to them from over here. Even if I can see them I can't shout loud enough to be heard. It's OK when (if) I ever get on to the PC and not a tablet. Is it because the thread is long?

Sounds like it may be your tablet Rose. Perhaps you need to commandeer the PC!

Have you checked your download, upload speeds, ping and browser speeds rose
(For an example my are currently 8.4 Mbps, 1.6 Mbps and 229 ms and browser 3/3 stars)

I am on a PC [police constable?] but at times this site seems very slow, especially long threads like soops. Could be my old computer or could be the site is busy? I dunno, AKA uploads downloads ping and browser speeds etc. you are a techie wizard.

So far, no trouble. I have a 'cloud' laptop which is very quick on most sites.

Aka - I'll bring it round to yours!

It's ok this morning, haven't looked into soop's yet; we're going out later so I will let thing have a nice rest today.

HollyDaze Thu 10-Jul-14 11:10:22

Yes, it all seems fine so far; maybe it is something to do with thread length?
