Thanks done that, but t'other site I am familiar with gives m the option to see how many posts I have made, replies ditto,

Methinks I have to persevere and not contrast other sites.

But other site makes money out of old rope

jollyg, have you noticed the row of boxes outlined in dark blue above and below each thread? There is also an option to 'watch this thread' on the right above the original post , which means you can later click on the 'watching' box to see any conversations you have chosen to keep track of. The 'I'm on' box will show you any recent discussions on which you have posted.
