I've been a member for some time, but never posted. About time I gave it a try, so here goes and I'll start by introducing myself.

Originally from London, I now live in Kent with my lovely hubby (who's originally from Liverpool) and yes, I'm a grandmother. Became a grandmother at 38, so just over 30 years now.

I now need to try to find my way around the site and hope too, that I can find my way back to this section. lol

Would love to get to know some of you........

Hello Londoner Welcome smile I've only been a GNetter for a few months, so still wearing 'L' plates! I think a lot of us seem to have watched from the wings before we got brave enough to post on threads, I know I did!

You'll find it's addictive wink

Hi Londoner

I know how you feel about navigating GN

I am still learning different things to date. confused. I think I am a lazy learner. grin

GN can be good for advice and chatting, interesting to read the thoughts of others and sometimes a bit annoying as we all have different views on life, that's what makes it interesting though.

Always be yourself and please join in I am sure we all are looking forward to reading your posts.
[welcome emoticon]

Welcome Londoner. I have lived in London for over 40 years and I have lived longer here than Scotland where I was born. I hope that you enjoy posting.

Welcome Londoner smile.I didn't become a grandmother until I was 60. I wish I had been younger as I might have had more energy but the choice is not ours to make.

Welcome from me too Londoner. I am still reasonably new to GN but have had a warm welcome apart from the fact that I didn't get a cupcake either sad. Why didn't we get one merlotgran? It's not fair is it? Tell you what, why don't we share a glass or two of wine and commiserate with each other .......let them eat cake !

merlotgran Thu 31-Jul-14 19:23:21

Welcome, Londoner. Hope you enjoy Gransnet.

Nobody gave me [cake] when I joined sad [throws toys out of pram]

Welcome - look forward to hearing more from you.

I am in theory a Londoner - but moved to Devon aged 2 weeks!

I was 54 when I first became a grandma - positively ancient!

Hello Londoner and welcome to GransNet.

I think we all do a bit of 'lurking' to see if we like it or not smile

If you do get stuck - or lost grin - someone will be able to help.
