Help re posting photos from FB

Come on Grans, surely someone can help Kitty? I think many of us enjoy the "Thought for the Day" thread!

I've tried too kitty. I can't do it either. That is why you have never seen any photos from this lovely part is Northumberland, and no-one knows what I look like. ( Perhaps not a bad thing)

It's the same with mini iPad.......

I've just uploaded a pic that I had saved in my laptop that came from FB originally and after I uploaded it there was a message asking me if I wanted to save the resized picture which I did and it is there in my photos.. sorry not much help I know..

The only way I have been able to upload photos onto GN recently is by making a copy using the snipping tool on my laptop (find it on your list of programmes). I assume it is of poorer quality, therefore it loads almost instantly.

Use another site first, upload your photo to an editing site, one such as Lunapic. 'Browse' and then save to your computer, use that copy as the upload to here.

This all sounds too complicated to just lift something from FB and then post on here! And it worked until about 3 weeks ago!

I just managed to save one from FB to my computer, and from there to here, without any trouble. It does seem strange, as usually fb is a perfectly good editing site in itself.

I've tried about half a dozen times jane and it just doesn't work for me!

Just tried again and saved it as a jpeg and it worked. Don't know if I can be bothered to do that everytime!!
